Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) (AZ) The Sexual Assault Services Formula Program (SASP) was created by the Violence Against Women Act of 2005 and is administered by the U.S. Department of Justice. SASP was the first federal funding stream solely dedicated to direct intervention - and related assistance for victims - of sexual assault. The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) distributes $1,206,309 to SASP recipients to provide core services, direct intervention, and related assistance to victims of sexual assault. Services include, but are not limited to: dual programs, which offer both sexual violence and domestic violence intervention services; medical services; support for the criminal justice system; and social support systems.
