Senior and Family Services Grant

The Senior and Family Services Grant offers vital funding to nonprofits in Sacramento County aimed at assisting seniors and low-income families. Grants up to $4,500 support projects that provide essential services such as transportation, food delivery, and housing assistance. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) public charities located in Sacramento County and demonstrate effective programming. This initiative seeks to empower local nonprofits in their mission to enhance community well-being.

The Senior and Family Services grant aims to aid nonprofits in Sacramento County in providing crucial services to seniors and/or low-income families.
This grant will accept proposals from organizations that are well-equipped to carry out the proposed projects effectively. Submitted proposals must include clear and measurable activities and objectives for projects/programs that either:

• service seniors via efforts such as transportation, food delivery, housing assistance, or housing improvement for immobility needs; or
• service low-income families via efforts such as health-related home improvements and living assistance.
• The proposed projects should be well-aligned with the organization’s mission.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, organizations must fulfill the following criteria:Designated as or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) public charity;Provides effective programs for seniors or low-income families;Located in Sacramento County.
