SDA Award of Excellence Awarded to increase awareness of SDA mission by recognizing innovative work in textile and fiber media to artists who have work in current exhibitions. The SDA Award of Excellence acknowledges accomplishment in textile and fiber by the juror or judge of an exhibit that is open to the public or is part of a conference. The Award of Excellence is a one-year premium digital membership in SDA, including all member benefits. Purpose The purpose of the award is to reward excellence and innovation in textile and fiber art, and promote the mission of SDA, furthering the field of textiles and fiber art.
