About Us Preserving, Promoting and Enhancing the Summer Camp Experience for All The American Camp Association, NY and NJ (ACA, NY & NJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the summer camp experience. We are an association of a diverse range of organizations, including nonprofit and private camps, day and overnight camps, religiously affiliated camps, programs serving people with special needs, specialty camps, youth development organizations, and independent and private school programs. The Scott Ralls Fund The Scott Ralls Fund was established to honor the memory of Scott Ralls, past President and longtime volunteer of the American Camp Association, New York and New Jersey. Scott was a passionate advocate for the camp industry and worked tirelessly to ensure that all camps had the resources they needed to succeed. The fund provides capital improvement support to nonprofit camps that are accredited by the American Camp Association, New York and New Jersey. Since its inception, the Scott Ralls Fund has distributed more than $372,000 to nonprofit accredited camps across the region to help them enhance the camp experience for generations to come.
