NOTE: All eligible entities seeking to receive funding under this RFA are encouraged to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply by the deadline on the website. It is optional. Submission of a Notice of Intent to Apply allows OSSE to provide you with timely information related to the grant competition. Interested organizations are also encouraged to have at least one representative attend one of the pre-application webinars. OSSE strongly encourages submitting applications at least one day early. About The Scholarships for Opportunity and Results (SOAR) Act grants support the public charter sector through a combination of formula and competitive grants to public charter local education agencies (LEAs) and nonprofit charter-support organizations. Facilities Competitive Grant Proposed projects must: increase the total number of seats available at a high- quality charter school, and/or increase the quality of existing seats at a high-quality charter school. Funding At least $3,500,000 is available for awards through this RFA. OSSE will provide up to $750,000 per award. Awards are limited to one per charter local educational agency (LEA). The total award period for this grant is two years.Eligibility
