Geographic Scope: Elkhorn Public Schools District, Nebraska

Eligible Recipients: Graduating high school seniors from Elkhorn High School (EHS), Elkhorn South High School (ESHS), and Elkhorn North High School (ENHS)

Overview: The Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation administers multiple scholarship programs on behalf of community businesses, families, and organizations. The scholarship program has benefited thousands of graduating Elkhorn seniors.

ACHIEVE Scholarships

• AP Track: For students pursuing Advanced Placement coursework
• CTE Track: For students in Career and Technical Education programs

Community-Funded Scholarships

Includes named scholarships established by families, businesses, and organizations such as:
• Skylar Elizabeth Hunter Memorial Scholarship: $500 per award to students demonstrating compassion, community involvement, and plans for post-secondary education. (31 scholarships totaling $17,500 awarded through 2020)
• Seniors for Seniors Scholarship: $5,000 - Recognizes students creating youth organizations to address senior isolation
• Robert 'Scoop' McArdle Scholarship: $2,000 - For students pursuing skilled trades or construction-related fields
• Echelon Homes Scholarship: $1,000 - For students majoring in engineering, construction management, or construction trades
• Terry and Paulette Peters Memorial Scholarship: $1,000 - For EHS seniors with 3.0+ GPA involved in sports and arts
• ESHS Softball Booster Club: Two $500 scholarships for female softball team members
• Sagewood Elementary PTO: Two $500 scholarships for Sagewood graduates
• West Bay Elementary PTO: One $500 scholarship for West Bay graduates
