SCF: General Fund Grant

The Scott Community Foundation's General Fund Grant aims to support charitable initiatives that align with its mission of enhancing community welfare in Scott County. The foundation focuses on assisting organizations in achieving their philanthropic goals while promoting inclusive participation in local growth. Eligible recipients include 501(c)3 organizations and governmental agencies. This grant does not fund capital campaigns, endowment programs, or political projects, ensuring resources are directed toward impactful community services.

Grant funds must be for charitable or philanthropic purposes that agree with the Foundation’s mission. For more information review the General Grant Application.

Eligibility

Grant funds must be for charitable or philanthropic purposes that agree with the Foundation’s mission
Recipients must be a 501(c)3 organization or a governmental agency
Projects must be located within Scott County or the surrounding area, or must primarily benefit Scott County

Ineligibility

Capital campaigns, endowment programs, and political projects are not eligible for funding
Grant funds may not be used to eliminate operating deficits or to retire debt
Organizations that practice discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, age, or national origin are not eligible for funding.
