Our Mission Scanlan Foundation’s mission is to contribute to the support of religious, charitable, and educational institutions and works within the fifteen Dioceses in the State of Texas, exclusively in order to further the Roman Catholic religion within the State of Texas. Scanlan Scholars Tuition Assistance Program Since 1947, Scanlan Foundation’s support for Roman Catholic high schools across the State of Texas has deepened. Today, funds for high school tuition assistance are granted through the Scanlan Scholars Tuition Assistance Program. Your high school must be in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston in order to apply.Eligibility

Roman Catholic (Arch)dioceses located in Texas, but outside of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, are automatically considered for Scanlan Scholars Tuition Assistance in each “A” grant session – no grant application is required or accepted.Roman Catholic High Schools located in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston may apply for Scanlan Scholars Tuition Assistance funds by using the high school grant application form in each “A” session.Ineligibility
