Rosewood Foundation Grant

The Rosewood Foundation, founded by Caroline Rose Hunt, aims to enhance the quality of life in the Dallas area through grants for arts, education, environmental conservation, healthcare, and poverty alleviation. It prioritizes established, well-managed organizations that demonstrate measurable impact. Typically, grants range from $2,500 to $10,000, primarily for program support. The Foundation does not fund individuals, political agendas, or certain religious activities, ensuring a focus on community benefit and sustainable growth.

In 1976, she founded The Rosewood Corporation, a family-owned company with diverse operations and investments. She was the guiding force behind the development and opening of some of Dallas’ most luxurious hotels and properties, such as The Mansion on Turtle Creek and The Crescent. Under her leadership, Rosewood continued to invest in upscale developments around the world, and its name and reputation became synonymous with luxury. She wore many hats including entrepreneur, philanthropist, gourmet, and author.
The Rosewood Foundation is the philanthropic vision of The Rosewood Corporation and the Caroline Rose Hunt Family. It's mission is to improve the quality of life for people in the Dallas area through grants supporting the arts, education, environmental conservation, healthcare, and families living in poverty. We seek to make contributions that will produce a meaningful, measurable, and positive impact to the quality of life for present and future generations.
The Rosewood Foundation awards grants principally for program support. Under special circumstances, The Rosewood Foundation will consider capital projects that serve The Rosewood Foundation’s guidelines. Grant amounts usually fall in the $2,500 to $10,000 range.

Eligibility

Organizations with tax-exempt status as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Ineligibility

The Rosewood Foundation does not award grants:to individualsto organizations without 501(c)(3) designationsto create endowmentsfor fundraising dinners or events for which a benefit would be received by The Rosewood Foundationto churches, synagogues or other places of worship for operating support, religious purposes or capital improvementsto schoolsfor an individual scholarshipto organizations whose agenda is largely political
