If you have not already done so, be sure to save your old applications and supporting documents. Mission The Foundation supports grant seekers within the Greater New Orleans area. We encourage projects that address our vision for a successful and vibrant city. Highest priority is given to grants in the following categories: EducationHuman service organizationsArts, both performing and appliedCommunity development activitiesGovernmental oversight activities The Foundation supports both capital projects and programmatic requests. Capital projects require a history of operating stability and the financial capacity to maintain the new facilities. Capital grants require evidence of broad support from the private sector and are usually made contingent to construct the project. Operational support requires broad support from the private sector. The Foundation supports very few organizations' operations year-after-year.  Short-term multi-year requests for operating support are preferred. RosaMary Foundation Grant Program The RosaMary Foundation operates under a trust agreement and, under the terms of the trust, is limited to the purpose of maintaining or aiding and assisting, through the medium of gifts, those organizations, whose principal interest is the support of educational, charitable, community improvement and literary purposes. Proposals are accepted throughout the year. Decisions regarding grants will be made only at regularly scheduled meetings of the trustees which are usually held twice a year in the spring and fall. Interviews will be conducted only at the invitation of the Foundation.

Ineligibility

No grants are made to individuals or for strictly religious purposes. The Foundation does not purchase tickets nor does it participate in fund raising events such as galas, etc.
