RosaMary Foundation Grant

The RosaMary Foundation Grant supports non-profit organizations in the Greater New Orleans area, prioritizing education, human services, arts, and community development. Grants are available for both capital projects and operational support, with a preference for short-term multi-year requests. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3). Proposals are accepted year-round, and decisions are made at biannual trustee meetings. This commitment fosters community improvement and enhances the vibrancy of the region.

The Foundation supports grant seekers within the Greater New Orleans area.
Highest priority is given to grants in the following categories:

• EducationHuman service organizationsArts, both performing and appliedCommunity development activitiesGovernmental oversight activities

Capital grants require evidence of broad support from the private sector and are usually made contingent to construct the project.
RosaMary Foundation Grant Program
The RosaMary Foundation operates under a trust agreement and, under the terms of the trust, is limited to the purpose of maintaining or aiding and assisting, through the medium of gifts, those organizations, whose principal interest is the support of educational, charitable, community improvement and literary purposes.
Proposals are accepted throughout the year. Decisions regarding grants will be made only at regularly scheduled meetings of the trustees which are usually held twice a year in the spring and fall. Interviews will be conducted only at the invitation of the Foundation.

Eligibility

Grants are made only to non-profit, tax exempt organizations and institutions. Petitioning organizations must be exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Ineligibility

No grants are made to individuals or for strictly religious purposes. The Foundation does not purchase tickets nor does it participate in fund raising events such as galas, etc.
