ROPS Rebate Program

Eligibility:

• Farmers with tractors manufactured before 1985 (without built-in ROPS)
• Wisconsin farmers

Program Description: The program provides rebates to farmers for purchasing and installing Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) systems on older tractors. ROPS are 99% effective in preventing injury and death when used with a seatbelt, and 70% effective without a seatbelt when a tractor overturns.

Funding Details:

• Rebate covers 70% of purchase and installation costs
• Maximum rebate: $865 per tractor
• Program funded by donations through the Auction of Champions, an annual fundraiser for farm health and safety

Application Process

Registration:
