Our three general areas of responsibility include: Protecting our food supply; Protecting our natural resources; and, Cultivating our agricultural economy. Rollover Protective Structures (ROPS) Rebate The Rollover Protective Structures (ROPS) Rebate Program makes tractor safety equipment affordable and simple to order. For Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026), we have approximately $75k for this and the Grain Storage Facility Safety Cost-Share programs. We will update the amount available throughout the year. Funding The program covers at least 70% of the cost of purchasing, shipping, and installing a rollover protection kit (roll bar and safety belt). Your costs are limited to no more than $500 per tractor.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Minnesota farmers and schools may apply. Retrofits are for tractors built before 1987. ROPS kits must be certified to the appropriate national or international standards. Used, certified rollbars are only allowed if none are commercially available – contact the National ROPS Rebate Program before buying used equipment.
