Robin Hood Foundation Grant

The Robin Hood Foundation Grant supports 501(c)(3) organizations in New York City focused on alleviating poverty. This strategic grantmaking initiative partners with promising organizations to create long-term solutions for economic mobility across various life stages. Eligible entities are encouraged to express their interest, as funding opportunities are not available through unsolicited proposals. By fostering collaboration in the community, the Foundation aims to maximize its impact on low-income New Yorkers.

We find and fund the most promising poverty-fighting organizations in New York City, initiating and developing long-term partnerships to deliver solutions with maximum impact.
Our Funding Criteria
Robin Hood is a strategic grantmaker; we source grantees and offer funding opportunities in collaboration with organizations in the field, rather than via unsolicited proposals.Our grantmaking approach follows lifestage milestones commonly associated with economic mobility: early childhood, school-age children, young adults, and adults & household supports. Eligibility

Robin Hood funds 501(c)(3) organizations providing services in New York City that aim to elevate New Yorkers out of poverty and serve low-income New Yorkers.
