Eligibility

Full-time residents as of the application deadline in an accredited US periodontal program in any year of residency are eligible to apply.Co-applications are acceptable only if equal contribution to the research project by each student is confirmed by the graduate program director and the number of co-applicants should be limited to two.The manuscript must be appropriate for submission to the Journal of Periodontology, but receipt of a Schoor Award is not contingent upon publication.
