Robert Lambrix Memorial Scholarship

Award Type: Need-based scholarship

Award Amount: $2,500/year, renewable for up to four years as long as recipient remains enrolled full-time

Geographic Scope: Rochester, NY area

Background

Named for BSAA founder Robert (Bob) Lambrix, BHS'57. Originally established at $1,000/year per student; increased to $2,500/year and expanded to multiple awards per year through generous support from BHS alumni.

Eligibility

• Must be: A graduating senior at Brighton High School in Rochester, NY
• GPA requirement: Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Financial need: Award is need-based
• Enrollment: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited two- or four-year educational institution

Award Details

• Multiple awards may be presented in a given year
• Recipients are featured in BSAA's 13th Corner newsletter
• Recipients are honored at the annual BSAA/BHS Alumni Hall of Fame Recognition Gala

• Demonstration of financial need
