Background:
The Robert C. Betters Founders Award was established in 2022 to honor Bob on his 15 years of service and as a founding member of the Plymouth Education Foundation. Because of Bob's leadership, the PEF has been able to establish an Endowment Fund which will continue to grow to support the work of the Education Foundation. The annual fundraising gala's success is credited to Bob's hard work and leadership. Bob's belief in the mission of the Plymouth Education Foundation to support students and staff by providing scholarships and grants is at the core of his work.

Purpose:
Through the Robert C. Betters Founders Award, a grant recipient from that current school year or special Plymouth Public School program will receive a $1,500 grant to continue their work to promote Lifelong Learning.
