Robert A. Platt Scholarship for the Sciences
Mission: To recognize a Lawrence High School Senior student interested in pursuing a college program in the sciences. Mr. Platt's passion for coaching soccer, love of fishing, and dedication to teaching made him admired for his ability to lead teams and support students. He believed that ALL students had the potential to LEADACHIEVESUCCEED.

1. Lawrence High School Transcript and GPA
2. Lawrence High School Student Resume
3. Headshot for the scholarship website (image will only be used if selected as awardee)
4. Two letters of recommendation:
- One from a Lawrence High School staff member
- One from a peer
5. Completed application form with electronic signature

Short Answer Questions (100-word maximum each):
1. What inspired you to pursue a career in the sciences? Was it a person, event, project, life experience, or something else?
2. Robert Platt was admired by his students for his fairness, honesty, and compassion. What qualities do you have that people admire? Is it loyalty, work ethic, helping your fellow peers, or any others?
3. How have you made a difference or contributed to your school or community?
4. What else would you like the committee to know about you?
