Fund History

Richard "Breezy" Brindza (1916-2016) was a Manitowoc native and only child of Frank "Breezy" and Dorothy Brindza. After high school, he followed in his father's footsteps as a painter contractor and was the proud owner of Breezy Brindza Painting. While Breezy passed away in 2016, his passion for the trades continues through this memorial fund. The fund will help fulfill the need for skilled talent on the Lakeshore by encouraging local students to use their aptitude and passion in vocational education to meet the high demand in the community for skilled professionals.
