Note: The deadlines above are within one grant cycle as follows: Initial Close Date - September 19, 2025 by 2:00pm (Proposal Round 1) and on a rolling eight-week schedule until the Final Close Date of May 1, 2026 by 2:00pm, or until the funds are fully expended. The rolling 8-week funding cycles (after Proposal Round 1) are as follows: November 14, 2025 by 2:00pm (Proposal Round 2); January 9, 2026 by 2:00pm (Proposal Round 3); March 6, 2026 by 2:00pm (Proposal Round 4); May 1, 2026 by 2:00pm (Proposal Round 5 being the Final Close Date unless the funds are fully expended sooner).This RFP has open and continuous acceptance: King County will begin evaluation of Proposals for this RFP on the Due Date stated above (Initial Close Date) and will continue to evaluate all Proposals received after this date on a regular basis subject to funding availability. King County Department of Community and Human Services We offer access to a range of services to help our county's most vulnerable residents and strengthen our communities. For most work, we contract with our trusted network of community-based agencies to provide direct services. The services and programs include behavioral health treatment, affordable housing, childcare, education and employment for youth and young adults, veterans services, support for seniors, and inclusive resources for people with developmental disabilities. Behavioral Health and Recovery Services We provide high-quality behavioral health services to individuals, families, and communities affected by mental health and/or substance use conditions. Behavioral health services include crisis services, mental health treatment, substance use treatment, plus programs to help people with behavioral health challenges avoid jail and hospital visits or successfully reenter community after a crisis. Our services cover King County residents who are Medicaid eligible and meet certain medical eligibility requirements. We also provide services for low-income, non-Medicaid eligible residents. Capacity Building and Technical Assistance Funds for Jurisdictions Purpose Statement This funding opportunity is intended to offset local government costs associated with supporting operators in siting Crisis Care Center facilities. It is available to King County jurisdictions within CRZs that do not have a designated Regional Crisis Care Center that is open and operational. All jurisdictions are eligible to apply for these funds to support siting of the Youth Crisis Care Center until the Youth Crisis Care Center is open and operational. Available Funding In each funding round, jurisdictions may request up to $100,000 per Crisis Care Center category (Regional Crisis Care Center and Youth Crisis Care Center), not to exceed a total of $200,000 per jurisdiction. Most individual awards will range between $25,000 and $75,000, depending on the scope of proposed activities.Eligibility
