The King County Department of Community and Human Services is offering Capacity Building and Technical Assistance Funds to support jurisdictions in establishing Crisis Care Centers. This funding aims to alleviate local government costs for jurisdictions without a designated Regional Crisis Care Center and is essential for developing youth-focused services. Jurisdictions can request up to $200,000, with individual awards ranging from $25,000 to $75,000, aimed at enhancing community health and safety through targeted interventions.

Behavioral Health and Recovery Services
Our services cover King County residents who are Medicaid eligible and meet certain medical eligibility requirements. We also provide services for low-income, non-Medicaid eligible residents.
Capacity Building and Technical Assistance Funds for Jurisdictions
Purpose Statement
This funding opportunity is intended to offset local government costs associated with supporting operators in siting Crisis Care Center facilities. All jurisdictions are eligible to apply for these funds to support siting of the Youth Crisis Care Center until the Youth Crisis Care Center is open and operational.
Available Funding
In each funding round, jurisdictions may request up to $100,000 per Crisis Care Center category (Regional Crisis Care Center and Youth Crisis Care Center), not to exceed a total of $200,000 per jurisdiction. Most individual awards will range between $25,000 and $75,000, depending on the scope of proposed activities.
