Research Grants

Purpose: 1-year grant opportunities to support research projects on issues related to the birth center model of care.

Amount: Up to $5,000 per grant

Focus: Research projects related to the birth center model of care

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to individuals or organizations
• Non-profit status not required
• Research project related to the birth center model of care
• Demonstrated capacity and plan to complete the research in accordance with the project's timeline

Requirements

• Grantees expected to complete a Final Report on their project when complete
• Interim Report required if project is not complete after one year

Geographic Scope

US-based (Pennsylvania funder)

Application Process

Letter of Intent approach: 1. Letter of Intent to consider projects is requested first 2. After review of Letters of Intent, AABC Foundation will invite individuals/organizations to submit a grant application

Letter of Intent Requirements:

Limited to one page

Must include:

- Contact information
- Project description
- Total cost
- Approximate date/timeline
- How project relates to mission of AABC Foundation
