Purpose: Funding to make a research article "open access" in a journal that has accepted the article for publishing, or that the author anticipates will be accepted.

Focus: Making research articles freely accessible to support advancement of birth center model of care

Eligibility Criteria

• Article must be related to the birth center model of care

Geographic Scope

US-based (Pennsylvania funder)

Payment Information

• Funds will be paid directly to the journal, OR
• A receipt may be submitted for reimbursement

Review Timeline

• Review and approval can take 2-3 months
• Proposals accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year

Application Requirements

Proposals for funding must include:

• Primary contact name, email, phone, address
• Article title
• Article summary
• Journal where it will be published
• Publication date
• Authors
• Cost of open access
• Amount of funding requested
• Other sources of funding (if applicable) – applied for or received
• How does the easy accessibility of the research benefit the advancement of the birth center model?
