Republic Services: Community Grant Program

The Republic Services Community Grant Program supports local nonprofit organizations focused on neighborhood revitalization, safety, disaster relief, and social services. Eligible 501(c)(3) organizations can apply once annually through an online application process. The program emphasizes a non-discrimination policy, ensuring services are provided without bias. However, funding is not available for individuals, government entities, schools, or religious organizations. This initiative reflects Republic Services' commitment to community engagement and support.

Republic Services proudly partners with many local nonprofit charitable organizations making a difference nationwide. Through our Community Grant program, we support local nonprofit organizations in the areas where our employees and customers live and work. This program allows for an open application process with a preference on addressing neighborhood revitalization, safety, disaster relief and social services.
Program Guidelines
In order to be considered for support, all interested organizations must start by completing an online application. We do not accept applications via email, fax, mail, or in-person at our local offices or Corporate headquarters. Should you have an employee referral, please specify the referral source in the online application. Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization within our service areas located within the United States may apply once annually through the Community Grant application process.

Eligibility

Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization within our service areas located within the United States and Puerto Rico may apply once annually through the Community Grant application process.
All considered organizations must comply with our Non-Discrimination Policy:Organizations seeking financial support from Republic Services must certify that their programs and services are offered and provided to individuals without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, disability, medical condition, veteran status, political affiliate, pregnancy, union membership, or other legally protected status, except as permitted by law.

Ineligibility

We do not fund:IndividualsReligious, labor, political, fraternal or membership-based organizations.Government entities.Schools. Advertising and mass mailings.Endowments, capital campaigns, or private foundations.
