NOTE:  We accept online grant applications at any time. Applications should be received by the first day of the month in order to be considered by the Board of Directors during the current cycle, with one exception. What We Do We actively pursue our vision through our grantmaking, supporting transformative initiatives and strategic projects in early childhood and public education, health and wellness, and community development. Our goal is to transform and significantly improve the education, health, and quality of life of the residents of Rockingham County. We see our role as helping our community partners to create pathways to success in these areas and to build bridges over obstacles for residents of Rockingham County. Grantmaking RAF actively pursues our vision of a thriving Rockingham County in partnership with our grantees. We work in three key funding areas: education, health, and community development. We work closely with our grantees to support quality early childhood services, a robust public education system, and prosperous and healthy local communities. We support potentially transformative programs and initiatives that build bridges and create pathways to success for residents of all ages, ethnicities, and abilities. ​If your organization is a public charity, governmental unit, or public institution and you share our vision for a progressive Rockingham County that offers opportunities for all residents, we'd love to talk about how we might work together.
