Overview
Regional Field Trip Scholarships
Overview: The Texas State History Museum Foundation partners with generous funders to provide scholarships for transportation and lunches for economically-challenged classrooms to attend field trips at the Bullock Museum.
Purpose: Museum experiences inspire curiosity and ignite a lifelong passion for learning. Field trip activities may include gallery and exhibit visits, educational films, and special programs like American Indian Heritage Day and STEAM labs.
Problem Addressed: While the Bullock Museum provides free admission to students on classroom field trips, transportation costs and lunch program barriers have prevented some students from attending.
