In order to qualify for funding, you need to demonstrate mission alignment or a specific program within your organization for serving people with OUD/SUD. This funding is also intended to support OUD/SUD serving organizations experiencing financial hardship. Examples of Qualified Emergencies: Budget shortfalls due to unexpected expenses or revenue loss Delays or changes in funding priorities, Elimination in expected grant funding or changes in availability of federal or state funding Disruption in business operations due to unexpected loss of staff Natural disaster, floods or fires Drastic changes in rent Increased demand for services due to a crisis or change in the behavioral health landscape in the community Surge or change in overdose cases Closing of partner organizations doing similar work - Emerging need due to landscape change like trainings or certifications, etc.Eligibility
