NOTE: This opportunity has two full-proposal deadlines. The first reflects the application due date, while the second is for submission of Required Authorization documents and the Environmentally Preferable Purchasing and Practices (EPPP) Policy if these are not submitted with the application. If an applicant does not have an EPPP Policy at the time of application, one must be adopted by the secondary deadline. About Us California’s Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) brings together the state’s recycling and waste management programs to move the state towards a circular economy that reduces waste and reuses all materials. Through landmark initiatives like the Integrated Waste Management Act and Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act, California works toward a society that uses less, recycles more, and takes resource conservation to higher and higher levels. Recycled Glass Processing Incentive RFP The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) administers a program to provide opportunities to stimulate an increase of glass cullet in the making of new glass beverage containers within the State of California. “Cullet” scrap glass that is derived from post filled food, drink, or beverage container glass produced or imported for sale in the state.” CA. Public Resource Code § 14509.3
