Overview

Read to Ride Program

Overview: A program designed to encourage, motivate, and inspire youth to develop and improve their reading skills during non-school hours and combat learning loss over extended school breaks.

Availability: Available for schools, libraries, and other out-of-school providers including Boys and Girls Clubs and Girl Scouts

Program Focus:

  • Encourages reading in all formats: books, magazines, comics, e-reads, newspapers

  • Promotes imagination and gives children opportunity to explore new ideas and worlds
  • Prizes:

  • 1st Place: Mongoose Bike

  • 2nd Place: Mongoose Scooter

  • 3rd Place: Mongoose Swag Pack

  • *Subject to change without warning

  • All students receive Certificate of Accomplishment

  • Free one-day membership to USA BMX (entitles riders to one day of track riding)
