Ramsay Research Grants Program

Funder: Solve ME/CFS Initiative

    • Program Objectives:

    • Grant Types:
    1. Lab-based Research Grants: $35,000 - $55,000 for one-year period, with possibility of renewal for promising projects
    2. Data-only Grants: Up to $10,000 for 6-month period to analyze data from You + ME Registry, with possibility of renewal

  • Researchers new to ME/CFS and Long Covid fields

    • Background:
    Ramsay 2021 marked the fifth cycle of the program. The program has successfully leveraged pilot data into larger grants:

  • Dr. Jarred Younger used Ramsay pilot data to secure $2.9 million NIH R01 grant

  • Dr. Dawei Li leveraged preliminary data into NIH R21 grant

  • Drs. Liisa Selin and Anna Gil used pilot data in competitive NIH R01 application

  • Information Sessions: March 3rd or March 8th, 9-10am PST (optional)

  • Award Notification: June 2021 (lab-based), May 2021 (data-only)
