Ramirez Family Foundation: Undergraduate Scholarships The Ramirez Family Foundation supports Christian missions worldwide and supports scholars who demonstrate their faith and values, understand the uniqueness of America as envisioned by our founders, and appreciate the global impact of the free enterprise system developed in America. The scholarship provides outstanding, self-motivated applicants the opportunity to complete their university education with financial assistance to minimize student debt. We are excited to support highly qualified students whose values and faith will help them positively impact their family, community, and country after they graduate. Funding 4-year accredited university or college:$3,000 per year for first-year applicantsPaid out 50% per semester Only for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and/or equipment for courses of instruction at a fully accredited university or collegeThe scholarship is for one year but renewable for up to four years at the sole discretion of the scholarship committee. Decisions are based on academic performance, an acceptable book essay, and timely submissions. The committee may or may not renew a scholarship for any reason based on their sole discretion.2-year accredited college, technical school, or online university:$1,000 per year for first year applicantsPaid out 50% per semester Only for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and/or equipment for courses of instruction at a fully accredited university or collegeThe scholarship is for one year but renewable for up to two years at the sole discretion of the scholarship committee. The student must qualify in one of these categories:St. Augustine Preparatory Academy Graduate Child of a full-time employee of HuscoChild of Missionary Ventures International (MVI) missionaries or full-time MVI employee Other Foundation eligible category as determined by the Trustees of the FoundationThe student must have an ACT score of 18 or higher.The student must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher.The student must have been accepted into an accredited university or college:4-year accredited university or college – all eligibility categories 2-year accredited college, technical school, or online university – ONLY graduates of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy are eligible for awards at these types of schoolsThe student must demonstrate Christian values and an appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of the values our country’s founders envisioned.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
