Quick Support for Organizations Grant

The Quick Support for Organizations Grant, offered by the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council, provides up to $2,500 for various arts-related projects. Eligible activities include planning for public art projects, small arts initiatives, and organizational development. The grant is designed to help organizations enhance their capacity to serve the arts community, with no cash match required. Applications are accepted monthly from August 2025 to May 2026, with a board review on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Program Intent
Provides organization with up to $2,500 for activities such as planning for an Art Legacy project, strategic planning or board training, costs to apply for 501(c)(3) status, small equipment purchases, or small arts projects. No cash match required.
Applicants may choose from five project types:

• Public Art project planning

Planning for a specific large-scale project that will create a strong arts legacy in the region:Requests for proposals from artistsGathering community inputDetermining available resources and costsResearching the feasibility or sustainability of the future project

Arts exhibits or performancesArt classes for community members of all ages (excluding projects in schools)Public art
