NOTE: This opportunity will not open  for applications in 2025 because the current grantee is being renewed for FY26. Prostate Cancer Outreach and Screening (NOFO) (IL) Program Description The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Illinois Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (ICCCP), will provide general revenue funds to one public or private not-for-profit entity to provide prostate cancer awareness, outreach, and screening statewide, with a focus on high-risk populations of Black non-Hispanic males and Hispanic males and areas with high prostate cancer incidence, high late-stage incidence, and high mortality. This focus is based on Illinois-specific data, objectives from the 2022-2027 Illinois Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan, and current guidelines from the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) regarding prostate cancer screening.
