Overview
The Promising Medical Student Surgery Education Research Award supports up to three medical students annually who show a passion for surgery and commitment to surgery education research. Eligibility includes a leadership role in surgery-related activities, involvement in peer-reviewed manuscripts, and plans for a surgical residency after completing at least two years of medical school. This award fosters the development of future leaders in the field of surgery.
The Promising Medical Student Surgery Education Research Award will be made annually to up to three medical students who have an interest in surgery and who are considered by their faculty, residents, fellows, or their peers (other medical students) to demonstrate a passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to surgery education research.
