Distinguished Mid-Career Educator Award Grant

The Distinguished Mid-Career Educator Award honors clinicians and educators who are within 6 to 20 years post-training and have demonstrated exceptional teaching at national or international levels. Nominees must provide compelling documentation of their educational scholarship and significant contributions to surgical education recognized for their impact. This prestigious award not only acknowledges teaching excellence but also emphasizes the importance of educational advancement in the field.

The Distinguished Mid-Career Educator Award will be given to clinicians and/or MS/PhD educators who completed their training at least 6 years and no more than 20 years ago and have demonstrated teaching excellence at the national and/or international level. In addition to recognized skills as an excellent teacher, nominees for this award will need to provide clear documentation of consistent educational scholarship and significant contributions to surgical education that are recognized to have national and/or international impact.
