Overview: Project Pal is a financial assistance program created to help OPALCO co-op members pay their electric bills during the heating season when bills are at their highest.

Program Details

• Geographic Scope: San Juan Islands, Washington (OPALCO service area)
• Funding Source: Voluntary member donations (members helping members)
• Assistance Period: November – April (heating season)
• Award Frequency: One grant per eligible household per year
• Application Method: Online application

Eligibility

• Must be an OPALCO member household
• Eligible households can receive one PAL grant each year
• Open to members struggling to make ends meet on the islands
