FY26 Project Grant for Artists Guidelines How The Program Works The Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) Project Grant for Artists (PGA) from the Nevada Arts Council supports individual artists in the production and/or presentation of artistic projects. The PGA is awarded twice a year for projects that take place during a specified six-month period. Some components of the project including planning may occur outside of the 6-month grant cycle; however, the primary, grant-funded portion of the project must occur within the grant cycle. Examples of eligible projects include art exhibitions, performances, readings, concerts, the creation of art, portfolio creation, curation, and marketing/promotional activities related to an arts project. Applicants may only receive one Project Grant for Artists per fiscal year.Applicant requirements:Must be a current Nevada resident and have been in residence for at least one year prior to the date of the grant applicationMust provide proof of residency in the form of a Nevada driver’s license or ID renewed at least one year prior or other official document such as a utility bill, paystub, or lease dated at least one year prior with applicant’s name and address listed.Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal permanent resident statusMust be at least 21 years oldMust provide proof of age in the form of a driver’s license/ID or other official document such as a passport or birth certificate.Artists working in collaborations must file one joint application with one individual as the primary applicantExamples of eligible projects include:art exhibitionsperformancesreadingsconcertsthe creation of artportfolio creationmarketing/promotional activities related to an arts project. Funds may be used for relevant project expenses including: artist fees (to applicant artist and any collaborating artists) facility costs such as space rental, production costs/materialsmarketing and promotiontravelcontracted services.Ineligibility
