Overview
A HUD-funded competitive grant program supporting the preservation and revitalization of manufactured housing and manufactured housing communities (MHCs). The program aims to maintain, protect, and stabilize manufactured housing through two primary activities: (1) Kentucky ROCs - acquiring and converting existing manufactured housing communities to resident-owned cooperatives, and (2) Kentucky Targeted Owner-Occupied Emergency MHU Replacement Program - replacing unsafe manufactured housing units constructed before 1976 that pose health and safety risks to low-income Kentuckians. Eligible applicants include Units of General Local Government and community-based non-profit agencies. Funding may be deployed across any of Kentucky's 120 counties.
