PPTC Grants Program

Prospect Park Track Club administers a Grants Program that provides funding to youth running organizations and programs that promote running in Brooklyn communities. The program has distributed nearly $14,000+ across multiple cycles since its inception in 2015.

Funding Cycles

The program operates with multiple funding cycles throughout the year:

• Spring Programs - Applications open in January
• Fall Programs - Applications open in late September or early October
• At least half of the proceeds from the annual Turkey Trot are earmarked for the three funding cycles each year

Eligible Organizations

Funding targets organizations that:

• Promote running and athletics in youth
• Serve Brooklyn communities
• Focus on youth ages 6-17
• Address barriers to participation (cost of equipment, uniforms, registration fees, travel)

Application Process
