2026 Grants Available For Poweshiek County through the Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation. The Poweshiek County Alliance (PCA) granting program fundraises and distributes grants which foster vibrant communities and address needs throughout Poweshiek County. Through a flexible, accessible, and responsive grant application, PCA grants help build relationships and tend to community needs through annual grant disbursements. We value local organizations carrying out community betterment activities. We value transparency and simplicity in our granting process and our role in oversight and due diligence as the grantor. We value all needs associated with charitable organizations. We value private and public support for grant programs. Poweshiek County Alliance Grants Grants are focused on projects that address the needs of residents within Poweshiek County. Projects of particular interest are those providing: Cultural, educational, and recreational opportunitiesEnhance the safety, beauty, and economic vitality of the county Projects that foster vibrant communities and benefit residents across the county are encouraged, and preference will be given to applications that have collaborative funding sources.Eligibility
