Power of Ten Program

Overview: A professional development program for early-career veterinarians offered by the Portland Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA).

Program Details:

  • Designed to provide support, tools, and guidance to early-career members for personal and professional development

  • Approximately 10 early-career veterinarians per cohort

  • 9-month duration with in-person educational opportunities and activities

  • Most sessions held in-person at the PVMA office in SW Portland

  • Current PVMA member veterinarians

  • 2025 graduates will be considered (recommended to complete intern year prior to participating)

  • Other candidates may be considered based on their level of interest
  • Program Costs:

  • PVMA provides all mentors, meals, and meeting expenses at no charge to participants
  • Geographic Scope: Portland, Oregon area (PVMA member organization)
