  • Program Overview: Na'ah Illahee Fund and Potlatch Fund have partnered to offer the Power of Ceremony and Healing Grant as a collective gift to Native communities. The grant recognizes ceremony's sacred place in Native culture and its role in nurturing health, empowering communities, and honoring significant beginnings and transitions. The program emphasizes three core values:

    • Nurturing: Through ceremony, communities reconnect with traditions, languages, and ancestral songs
    • Empowering: Ceremony offers sacred space to maintain connection to wholeness as Native people
    • Honoring: Celebrating devoted ceremony leaders who lift up communities

    Cultural Approach: The grant recognizes ceremony as a private community concern and honors the privacy of all participants.
