The Portland Foundation Enhancing the Quality of Life in Jay County Founded in 1951, The Portland Foundation is the second oldest community foundation in Indiana. It was created to enhance the quality of life for the people of Jay County, Indiana, now and for generations to come, by building community endowment, effecting significant impact through grantmaking and providing leadership on key community issues. Portland Foundation Women’s Giving Circle Grant The mission of The Portland Foundation Women’s Giving Circle is to build a community of women philanthropists through the pooling of knowledge and resources for the purpose of providing grants to Jay County organizations and initiatives that address mutually-agreeable issues. The Circle will award grants which focus on enhancing the capacity of Jay County’s not-for-profit organizations to support programming that addresses needs for Jay County. Funding Applicants should be requesting grant support in the amount of at least $5,000. The Circle's goal is to award one $5,000 grant, with potential finalists to receive a lesser amount.Eligibility
