Overview
The PLTW Engineering grant, supported by the Arconic Foundation, aims to enhance STEM education by funding the implementation of PLTW Engineering courses in schools. This initiative prepares students for future careers by igniting their passion for engineering. Grants will cover startup costs for new programs or expansions of existing ones. Eligible schools must offer PLTW's Advanced Manufacturing course for the 2026-2027 school year, ensuring access to essential resources and training for educators.
As the global economy evolves, so do the skills that will be needed by tomorrow's leaders. To prepare communities for these demands, Arconic Foundation has partnered with PLTW to support grants to schools for implementation of PLTW Engineering courses. With this support from Arconic Foundation, PLTW is helping educators ignite students' passion for the STEM disciplines and increase enrollment in STEM studies.
These grants will assist in offsetting startup costs associated with implementing the first year of the PLTW Engineering program. Schools that already offer the program are eligible for consideration if their request seeks to add more PLTW Engineering courses, sections, and/or train additional PLTW Engineering teachers.
Program Requirements
Grantee must offer PLTW's Advanced Manufacturing course for the 2026-2027 school year.
