PLTW Computer Science Since 2009, Chevron has committed over $24 million to PLTW nationally, providing transformative educational experiences for K-12 students and teachers in California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. As a result, over 411,000 students and over 9,500 teachers have had access to PLTW programs and teacher professional development. Example expansion activities include but are not limited to adding an additional PLTW Computer Science course not previously offered, and/or offering existing PLTW Computer Science courses to more students, and/or training additional teachers in PLTW Computer Science courses during the next academic year.
