PLTW Computer Science The commitment is part of a long-term social investment program in the Gulf of Mexico region. Since 2009, Chevron has committed over $17 million to PLTW nationally, providing transformative educational experiences for K-12 students and teachers in California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. As a result, almost 250,000 students and over 8,100 teachers have had access to PLTW programs and teacher professional development. In 2013, Chevron became PLTW's first National Partner a designation signaling the highest level of support and commitment. PLTW Program Status Program ExpansionEligibility

Example expansion activities include but are not limited to adding an additional PLTW Computer Science course not previously offered, and/or adding additional class periods of an existing PLTW Computer Science courses previously offered, and/or training additional teachers in PLTW Computer Science courses for the next academic year.
