PLTW Computer Science Caterpillar Foundation understands the importance of equipping individuals and communities with the skills, resources, and services they need to thrive in our changing world. Investments in workforce readiness and STEM aim to create human infrastructure through an empowered, prepared, and skilled workforce. Caterpillar Foundation has partnered with PLTW to expand access to STEM education in under served communities. Through this partnership, Caterpillar Foundation is supporting PLTW grants to schools interested in starting and expanding PLTW programs beginning in the next academic year. Program Requirements Grantee must use their grant funds to expand their existing PLTW Computer Science program. Example expansion activities include but are not limited to adding an additional PLTW Computer Science course not previously offered, and/or adding additional class periods of an existing PLTW Computer Science courses previously offered, and/or training additional teachers in PLTW Computer Science courses for the 2025-2026 academic year.
