Note: This is a rolling grant opportunity. Awards will be made twice monthly. PLTW Biomedical Science Project Lead The Way is making grants available to schools interested in adding PLTW Biomedical Science program for the first time in 2026-2027. Program Requirements PLTW Biomedical Science must be offered to students in the 2026-2027, 2027-2028, and 2028-2029 academic years. Grant awarded schools must: Offer at least one PLTW Biomedical Science course of the school's choosing to students in the 2026-2027 academic year,Offer at least two different PLTW Biomedical Science courses of the school's choosing in 2027-2028 academic year. This is a three-year grant. PLTW will directly covers the following costs associated with implementation of PLTW Biomedical Science: Year 1: 2026-2027 PLTW Biomedical Science participation fee;  Year 2: 2027-2028 PLTW Biomedical Science participation fee; and Four (4) PLTW Biomedical Science Core Training registration fees. Teachers at awarded schools have until October 1, 2028 to register for PLTW Biomedical Science Core Trainings using their grant awarded training seats. In Year 3, 2028-2029, grantees are required to assume financial responsibility for the PLTW Biomedical Science participation fee regardless of offering the program.
