Overview: The Pilot Program was originally created in 1990 to nurture the development of emerging choreographers. In 2022, with California Arts Council support, the program was relaunched to offer new services for emerging and mid-career choreographers.

    Background

    The Pilot Program has been a staple of ODC's creative mission to support local Bay Area choreographers with self-production throughout the organization's 50-year history.
