Peer Support Program

Overview: The Limb Preservation Foundation offers one-on-one, peer-to-peer support for patients. The program enhances medical care by providing emotional, social, and practical assistance, guiding you through limb-risk situations toward ultimate wellness.

Geographic Scope: Rocky Mountain Region – Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming

Eligibility:

Must be in active treatment or recovery for a limb-threatening condition related to one of the following:

- Extremity tumor
- Extremity trauma
- Extremity infection

Must live in the Rocky Mountain Region

Support Available:

Empathy from someone who has had a similar condition

Connectedness, inclusiveness, and a safe way to express yourself

Hope for a fulfilling future

Improved mental health from a place of positivity and realism
