We award grants to scientists conducting innovative research that will lead to a future with more options for patients with rheumatic disease to live longer, healthier lives. Pediatric Rheumatology Symposium (PRSYM) Abstract Award Supports the attendance of students and residents interested in attending the ACR’s Pediatric Rheumatology Symposium (PRSYM) meeting. PRSYM provides the most up-to-date, practical clinical information and basic science knowledge on the diagnosis and management of pediatric patients with rheumatic diseases and immune disorders. Purpose Provide outstanding students and residents the opportunity to attend the 2026 Pediatric Rheumatology Symposium.Eligibility

The applicant must meet citizenship and other eligibility requirements as outlined in the Awards and Grants Policies.The applicant must:Be a medical student enrolled in a LCME- accredited medical school, or a graduate student enrolled in an accredited institution, or;Be a resident enrolled in an ACGME-accredited pediatric or combined medicine/pediatric residency program who is interested in pediatric rheumatology.The applicant must be an author or co-author of an abstract submitted and accepted to the 2026 Pediatric Rheumatology Symposium.The applicant must have made a significant contribution to the work submitted in order to be considered for the award.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
