Peay Merit Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are evaluated on four criteria:
- Athletic Commitment: Consistent and meritorious participation in athletics at the preparatory level (high school varsity sports)
- Academic Achievement: Minimum 3.75 high school GPA; enrollment in honors and Advanced Placement classes
- Exceptional Leadership: Documented leadership experiences in scholastic, athletic, service, and/or other endeavors that demonstrate noteworthy and distinguishing leadership, including leadership in adversity or outstanding mentorship
- Commitment to National Service: Demonstrated commitment to commission as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces upon graduation, or other demonstrated commitment to national service (e.g., Teach For America, service in local/state/national government)
